More Context Budgies
Louie the Budgie
Louie was "born" February 14, 2001. Hand fed until weaned. Started "mumbling" at 2 months and clearly started speaking words and fragmented sentences at 2 1/2 months. It was then I started to realize he wasn't your average budgie and recorded his first sentences at 3 months. Since then many hours of video and digital video camera recordings were taken and archived. Earlier this year I came upon your web site and was immediately impressed by Victor and his speak and your ability to interpret and bring to words what these little guys and gals are saying. Keep up the good work. I only wish to share Louie's ongoing life's experiences and interactions with anyone that is willing to listen. As you know, I'm in the process of transferring all his old recordings to DVD and wav's. I had to put this on hold for now because of moving, but what is interesting to me it seems something happened to his thoughts and expressions around late July to August last year (2003). Coincidently, it was at this time we found Victor's chronicles. It was the first time Louie experienced another talking Budgie and it seemed to flip a switch in his little mind. All of his recordings since that time have been so different not only in what he seems to be talking about but also in his body language while he's talking.
