Well, Peeper was born about February or March 2004. I got him when he was 4
weeks old. After about 3 month of having him, we left his cage open all the
times and he got used having the whole house as his cage. One evening, after
we went to bed, I suddenly heard noise in the dark, coming from the office.
I immediately realized what happen, jumped up and turned on the light
everywhere. I was right, Peeper was searching for me and flew in the dark
and couldn't find his way back home. I saved him and he didn't get hurt.
Since then, before I go to bed, I bring Peeper in his cage, which isn't
always an easy task, since if he doesn't want to go to his cage, it becomes
a game between him and I, who has the better tricks. :-) I usually win, and
once he's in the cage, I lock it and when I turn of the light, he gives me
"good night kisses" which I return, until I am in my bedroom. In the
morning, I usually get up at 7isch, get my coffee and check my
e-mail......by then, Peeper is ready and starts peeping and makes noises,
until I let him out. As soon as I open his door, he immediately flies to the
office and gets on his perch which I attached on top of my monitor. Once I
come in the office behind him, we give each other a "beak to beak" good
morning kiss and I sit down ! he then immediately flies on HIS finger which
he loves dearly. He's cleaning himself, talking to me, peeping and of course
feeding his finger. After a while, he tries to fly to my coffee cup and sits
on the rim and tries to get inside the cup to get some coffee which I DON'T
allow him....... Obviously this became also a game for him, since we repeat
this all morning long ! :-) After a while, he flies back to his cage and
plays on his mirror and with other toys. He also loves to pick and bit and
rip on little white papers when I hold them between my fingers. He likes the
sound of paper getting crumbled.

In this recording Peeper talks about a number of things showing how he understands humanistic concepts such as money, the bank and dreams.
In this one Peeper demonstrates his ability to understand concepts such as being in a group, collecting the best talking budgies in the worlds and developing relationships with man so budgies will be protected
There have been numerous examples of strange things happening with some of the budgies. They seem to be knowing things they should not know unless they were somehow there. In this one Peeper seems to be describing a book that is sitting beside my computer
This is a continuation of the one where Peeper talks about the "Chi".There was some discussion as to whether or not he could have been saying "She" but I think this confirms it is "Chi."
